The following is a guest post from my friend Eric Moorman, who has made a killing in small-town real estate investments. I have been a full-time Real Estate Investor for many years now. I had never taken a Real Estate class and had no idea how to fix invest. The one advantage I had was a father who was an invest mentor, the quintessential entrepreneur.

My dad invested in Real Estate on the side and thought I may be good at it, so I decided to how it a try. The first obstacle I faced was the fact I had no money to buy a house. Of course, now there are way easier ways to start investing in real estate. Having cash is not necessary to make money in Real Estate investing, but it does make the process easier.
